Mission Statement, I guess?
My two passions include Art History and Fashion. The latter is something not many people know about me. I regularly check fashion blogs/websites/forums etc. I have always viewed fashion as another means of artistic expression and often see parallels between fashion photography and and the paint-strokes of the masters like Ingres, Picasso, Chagall, and others. My goal with this blog is to showcase the parallels between art and current fashion. Wish me luck. This is beginning to feel like a mission statement or some sort of nonsense.

I absolutely love this HTL drawing! I had an assignment in an Art Class to combine two works' styles into one, so I chose this piece and Lichtenstein's style. It came out a hot mess, but it was so fun! Nice choice. :)
